The office of architectural studio conveyer is located in a renovated industrial building from 1928 in Sofia—the former “Lilyana Dimitrova” confectionery factory. We discovered the space in 2007 and immediately recognized its potential: an authentic reinforced concrete frame, tall windows, and a clearly expressed industrial character that shapes a strong architectural identity. We personally transformed the neglected 7 × 14 m space, with a height of 4 m, into an open and functional architectural office. All non-load-bearing walls were removed, and a compact internal core—a container—was introduced, housing a meeting room, kitchenette, and service spaces. The materials and detailing—epoxy flooring, metal structure, and exposed electrical installations—emphasize the industrial aesthetic and the honesty of the space.
The office reflects the way we work: through an open and collaborative approach, where every task is developed with attention to its potential and a focus on delivering value to the client. The name conveyer naturally aligns with this logic—a continuous process of creation, where architecture emerges from a sequence of deliberate and well-considered decisions.
