Located in an old industrial zone and dating back to the 1970s, the Q-vent production hall is undergoing a complete transformation and renovation. The aim of both the client and the architects is, on one hand, for the renewed hall to integrate into the existing context, reshaping it into a contemporary industrial environment, and on the other, to become a recognizable element of Q-vent’s identity.
The distinctive large-scale single glazing of the existing building has been updated, with the characteristic metal mullions of the original steel frame preserved and overlaid with a system of polycarbonate panels that provide soft, diffused light within the production spaces. Linear aluminum profiles and Q-Vent’s recognizable brand graphic elements, applied onto a dark mineral render, further enhance the character of the façade.
