Located in Kosanin Dol, in the southern outskirts of Sofia, the house is designed on a steep site with views towards the city, Pancharevo, and Vitosha Mountain. Rather than opposing the natural terrain, the project embraces it as an integral part of the architectural concept.
The building is positioned along the northern part of the plot, leaving a generous southern garden that unfolds into a series of spaces with distinct characters — a representative area, a play area, a garden, and a more intimate rear garden. In this way, the house and garden become a unified whole, offering different ways of living throughout the day and across the seasons.
The architecture follows the natural slope through a system of split levels. A generous entrance hall runs through the house, connecting its two ends, while the spacious living area, with a one-and-a-half-storey height, opens onto the southern garden and brings the surrounding views into the interior.
Two contrasting volumes define the silhouette of the house — the darker lower volume blends into the terrain, while the lighter upper volume appears to float above it. Its S-shaped form is carefully oriented towards the most prominent views. The total floor area is 1,120 sq.m.
