The project represents the transformation of a penthouse near the sea into a high-end residence, where the rooftop terrace becomes the primary carrier of the living experience. Initially neglected and functionless - marked only by a solitary chimney interrupting the view—the terrace is reimagined as a vibrant space, the heart of the project, with a direct connection to the sea horizon.
At the core of the concept is the “bridge” - a linear architectural gesture that structures the space. It defines a covered lounge area with soft seating, a fireplace, and integrated greenery, while simultaneously framing the views toward the sea. At one end, a staircase leads to an upper level offering a panoramic view. This architectural gesture continues into the interior, where the wooden decking transforms into both flooring and ceiling soffit, creating a continuous spatial experience and a seamless transition between inside and outside. The material palette follows a warm and natural language - wood, neutral textiles, and greenery - working in harmony with the seaside context and enhancing the sense of calm and comfort. The result is a distinctive project where the architectural intervention defines the way of inhabiting and turns the terrace into the heart of the home. The penthouse has an area of 320 sq.m (+320 sq.m terrace).
