The primary focus of the interior space of the Q-vent production hall is directed toward the volume of the office container. Its highly elongated proportions, the clean lines of the ribbon windows, as well as the texture of the metal panels, create a strong horizontal character. The office volume appears to visually gravitate above the hall floor, a perception reinforced by the optimized steel columns and the stair core. The resulting design reflects the distinctive qualities of early 20th-century modern architecture from the 1920s and 1930s, which is integrated into the industrial character of the interior.
Тhe new production areas are designed in contrast to the office container. In these spaces, the authentic colours of exposed brickwork and the casings of metalworking machines create a welcoming, factory-like, familial, and craft-oriented atmosphere, which forms the basis of Q-vent’s corporate philosophy. The use of graffiti by street artists completes the intended narrative within the interior space.
