The space is located in the capital’s city centre. Even during the initial site visit, its potential was visible despite its state at that time. The reconstructions over the years had separated the volume in its height into two smaller spaces. In the project half of the second level is removed, and its other part is transformed into a storage space, accessible through a ladder through the ceiling of the fitting room. This gives the client area a double height and the shop window a better appearance, and despite the small size of the store, it has great visibility in the urban fabric. With the mirror placed on one end of the space next to the wall with the shelves, an effect of doubling the amount of displayed items is achieved. The Streetаrt panel that hides the storage space on second level is separated by a deep gap from the walls and stands out as a separate hanging element contributing to the urban feel. The explosion safe authentic lightning adds to the industrial atmosphere of the space and in combination with the double height client area overcomes the psychological boundary of the small sized space.
