The machine is designed for quick and easy cutting of complex geometric profiles from styrofoam or sheets type ‘Fibran’. The size of the worktop and the height of the cutting string allow working with boards or entire styrofoam blocks of large thicknesses, for which the model knife is inapplicable. The leading beam could be locked using a convenient handle and allows for cutting rectangular parts with random sizes. The adjustable power supply of the machine provides a varying operating temperature of the cutting string, which in its turn changes the rate and precision of the cutting. The machine is equipped with a fan protected with a grid which is turned on simultaneously with the beginning of the work process and serves for removing unpleasant fumes released during the cutting of styrofoam. Turning on and off the machine is facilitated by the use of a foot pedal.
